I was born on the 13th of April 1966 in Faido, Ticino (where people speak italian) in the South of Switzerland!

When I was 13 years old my uncle gave me a comic book in which there was a poster of The Beatles with a lot of pictures of the band, I saw it and ... life was not the same!!!!!
Paul Mc Cartney is with no doubt the person who has influenced the most the way I play bass (and guitar!)

As I discovered seeing him that it was possible (but very difficult!!!!!) to get lefthanded instruments a new horizon opened, wide open, in front of me.
My first bass was an Höfner 182 righthanded strunged upside down. Then I got my first Höfner Beatles bass that I still own and I love so much, as it was my first girlfriend :-)
But the bass that I've always desired to own was the Rickenbacker 4001in fireglo and when I got it after a long waiting time it was as it was Xmas!!!!!
It's not just a bass, it's my bass!

During the years I also begun to play guitar. I have a Rickenbacker 330, a customized Fender Stratocaster "Galaxie", a wonderful Höfner Nightingale, a cherry Gibson 335 and some Höfner acoustics from the '70. I amplifies all my instruments through Vox Amplifiers (AC30, V125BASS and Conqueror) and also House of Speakers Boxes, which are made by a super guy from Germany called Michael (www.houseofspeakers.de)

I write with my brother most of the songs that we play with moonvox, which are pop-rock songs.
Passion and friendship are for me two very important words when you play music. I'm so happy to live these words with Moonvox.

I'm so happy to see a lot of passion and love for music and musicians when I see homepages like Arni's :-)
