I live in a little village near Figueres (painter Salvador Dali's
birthplace), close to the French border I've been playing LeftyBassguitar for the last
20 years, and so on...
Here are the bands where I have played:
- 69.G My first R'n'R band ever (1990 to 1995)
- The Furillos A power pop trio (1990 to 2001)
- Have Mercy ZZ Top Tribute band for the first 5 Lp's of "that little Ol' band
from Texas" (1991 to 1996)
- Egotrip A short project of a friend of mine (1994)
- Tuti Fruti Music band for all ages (1996 to 2010)
- Pinocchio My actual band, since 2006. We play indie & Rock music covers and actually,
we just have started doing our own music.

- Also I have an interesting project for joining with a band of Cuban musicians (delightful
for me)
MY Gear it's simple:
- Isanda 4 strings Bass guitar My first Bass ever. Righty turned lefty and it's a Precission
bad clone
- Kawai FIIB 4 strings Bass guitar My first real Bass. Must be from 1989 and it's an
Alembic clone that got popular trought the 90's
- Yamaha RBX 350 Got it as a wedding present from my friends. The one I use most at
home to practice
- Custom made Stingray (the Bass in the picture)
Made by a good friend of mine with the help of Catalan Luthier
Rafa Bazaga. His name was Manel Illana, and he died five and a half years ago RIP
He was a real good and fast LEFTY guitar player, as well as a very
good Bass player. As you may supose, it's a honour for me to hold and play that Bass,
since we were very close friends and I learned a lot from him.
I felt sooo lucky when his wife wanted to give it to me.
- Now, I'm the proud owner of that 2008 Rickenbaker 4003 sold on your site by Jeroen
Gahrmann from The Netherlands last January. I bought it very quick, but Jeroen could'nt
find a cheap shipping to Spain, so a friend of mine in Den Haag was holding
the Rick for me until yesterday, when it arrived to my home. That's why I'm writting
to you, because I need to tell it to the whole world :-)
- My amplifiers are an old Peavey combo 300 (for practicing), a 2 x 10" Mark Bass
Combo (the one I use for everything) and that thing on the picture, the only Massey
Fergusson Bass Amp in the world (that's a joke to all the musicians suffering G.A.S.)
