Joe Sheldon living in central Pennsylvania between Lancaster and
Harrisburg. I have been playing bass for over 25 years in various cover bands including
reggae and Grateful Dead to wannabe jazz fusion bands. Located here 15 years ago from
Philadelphia suburbs after starting a family. I am currently playing with an all original
band "Scabota" formerly Darwin's Jesus a melodic heavy alternative arrangement.
Playing left handed has always limited my choices of basses to play but not really
an issue. There are many blog sights and of course Arni's sight that I visit pretty
much every day. We are part of a of something that has created a tight network that
sticks together. I've made friends all over North America and I hope to expand to all
over the world. Thanks Arni for the opportunity.
Now about my gear, I need to say I have had some of the worst and some of the most
expensive. I have yet to find the perfect bass, amp, effect combination. It's like
a defect I have that I can't get the sound I want to have live with my band that is
loud enough or clear enough. I am getting close lately with a Wal Mach III from "99"
and my Mesa 4/12 neo cab and GnK head. But still I find myself endlessly tweaking my
knobs. Here is a link to my blog sight with some of my gear. Thanks for checking me
out and please continue to support this community.
