Band: Afasia

Lima / Peru

I'm a Bassplayer from Lima Peru, playing bass since 16 years old, several generes of music like latin, salsa, rock and other styles, one cd recorded with my band called "Afasia" , a rock pop band (soon mp3 from the master), At first I played normal right basses rotate them for a left handed, but whitout change the strings order, so I have the G string Up and the E string down, I play in this way for some years after I tried to make some slap technique, then I buy a custom left handed bass for a regular quality, complete pasive. After years, finally I can purchase a left handed bass , a Yamaha BBNEII , this is my main bass. Actually I'm studing some theory and jazz lessons.

My favorite Bass players are : Geddy Lee, Billy Sheehan, John Wetton, Tony Levin, Chris Squire, the great Jaco Pastorius in my fretless style, Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, Les Claypool and some rock players like Paul Mc Cartney, Justin Chancellor (Tool), Chris Wolstenholme (Muse), Steve Harris, John Myung, Flea.

Favorite Musicians : Neil Peart, Jaco Pastorius, Jordan Ruddes, Paul Mc Cartney, Mike Portnoy, Alex Acuna, Chick Corea, Joe Satriani
