I’m Matteo dè Virgiliis, I was born in Milan in ’76
but now I live in Teramo, in the center of Italy, near the Mark Bass Headquarters!
I started to play and study bass in 1990 more or less with a band called “Komplesso
di Edipo• with M° Enrico Melozzi and dj 66K on the drum, we toured all around
Italy.
I started to play with my actual band AURA since 1999, and i’m actually touring
everywhere in Italy and sometimes all around the world, this is some of past shows...

I’ve played and toured with; Eric Martin from Mr Big, Jennifer Batten (Michael
Jackson, Jeff Beck ecc), Sarah Jane Morris, Roberto Ottaviano and as opening act for
Stef Burns, Kee Marcelo, Neil Murray, Marco Mendoza, Vince Pastano, Ron, Concato, Rei
ecc..I shared the stage with a lot of actors, comedians and more. I played in different
TV shows.
GEAR:
I’m actually playing an Alusonic bass, a 4x10 Trace Elliot case and Ampeg svt3
head.
I’ve also an Hartke and Mark Bass 4x10.
