I've been playing bass for 18 years, most notably in three relatively successful northwest bands - Radio Nationals (1999-2005), Dear John Letters (2001-2006), and Young Sportsmen (2005-2008).

My bands have been fortunate to open for some great bands like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Black Crowes, Ian Hunter, Cracker/CVB, John Fogerty, and others.

I've toured with Johnny Hickman (Cracker) and played with Alan White (John Lennon/Yes). These days I don't tour or play in a gigging band anymore.

Now I've got a great family and I jam weekly with a bunch of great guys (one guy has a music studio on his property so it's full blown rock and roll jamming).

I'm a Beatlemaniac and love too many bands and styles of music to list. I'm a music trivia buff...

This week I've listened to Alice Cooper's Killers, Chicago's first record, a bunch of Beatles, Elvis Costello, and Whiskeytown. I'm a sucker for power pop a la Sloan and Spoon.
