Rudy started off playing the guitar when he was 11, and went on to play in a heavy metal/hard rock band in the 80's. His drive and commitment would soon lead him to many gigs at school functions, at weddings,and at band competitions at expos/funfares. Rudy then took a breather for a few years to re-evaluate and reinvent his life and career.

Making a comeback on the music scene in 1997, he picked up the bass guitar and fell in love with it ever since. Since then, Rudy has worked with a variety of bands in genres such as Heavy Metal, Rock, Disco, Pop, Retro, Jazz, and Reggae in both English and Malay. His performance credentials include playing in popular club venues both locally and regionally.

Rudy's musical influences include world reknown bassists/musicians such as Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Roger Glover from Deep Purple, Parliament Funkadelic, Billy Sheehan, Jeff Berlin, Victor Wooten, John Patticcutti, Bootsy Collins and Bill Dickens.

Rudy believes that there is no categorization in music. It's either good music or bad music, whatever the style, whatever the form. To enjoy music,you have to feel it in the heart and soul and ROCK IT!
