I have been playing bass for 30 years. Early on I played as a bassist/singer in pop bands before concentrating on bass but still writing pop songs in whatever band I was playing.

Later, I did session work and eventually worked doing events.

Currently playing with Citrus Audio playing bass and guitars.

Influences: These have varied over the years. In terms of bassists, I like to listen to Paul McCartney, Sting, Jaco Pastorius, Jack Bruce, Marcus Miller.

Artists I like include Miles Davis, Weather Report, Jeff Buckley, Ryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, Live, Stone Temple Pilots.

Equipment: My current set up comprises a Fender Jazz Bass, Warwick Thumb Bass and an Aria Sinsonido Fretless Bass.

Amplification is a 118 Acoustic Bass Combo.

Dream bass would be a new custom Wal Mk1.
