| Starting playing bass in 1970 at the age of 13. My teachers were
Jack Bruce, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones, Jack Cassidy, and Tim Bogart. Early on I
learned the importance of reading music and was taught by Herb Mickman, Ella Fitzgerald
bass player. With an emphasis on sight-reading and composition.
By the age of 20 I was working the Los Angeles/Orange County Club circuit six nights
a week. In the mid-eighties I joined a commercial rock group, Swift Kick which earned
an MTV Basement Tapes award in 1985. The group played at just about every Hollywood
venue i.e., Whiskey, Palace, Roxy, The Country Club and the Palladium.

Most of the 1990's got into the Top 40 working groups traveling to Nevada, Arizona
and California areas. Later found myself being hired with Blues bands David Leon and
the Lil Jugs, Lightnin Willie and the Poor Boys, and currently Jill Sharpe. I've always
had a passion for the Blues, with early exposure to groups such as, Muddy Waters, Big
Joe Turner, Little Walter, Allman Brothers, Rolling Stones and the list goes on.

All of the equipment I own I have used at one time or another and still use today,
depending on the occasion. Different groups ask for different equipment depending on
        their style.
