I was born in 1967, I began on piano at 7, and on bass at 13 (upright bass at 15). I'm a pro bass player. I play daily in french TV, in FASILA (FRANCE 3, 20h05-20h30), a musical game. I have my own band, "Yves Carbonne Group". We play Jazz Fusion. There's no CD for the moment. I have play in 10 CD. You can listen me in "Extraits musicaux".
I have play various "F" basses for 12 years, since I meet Alain Caron in 1984.
My speciality is 6 string fretless bass.
Since 1998, I have create my owns models, wich are built by Noguera, a great french bass builder (to see Noguera site's, go to "Instruments", or click here). The project was to create a handmade bass, in JazzBass style, but with an original shape. I think the result is great !
My models are : NOGUERA YC STANDARD and NOGUERA YC DELUXE, in 4,5 or 6 strings, fretted or fretless. Piccolos versions are availables. There will be photos in my site (and in Noguera's site) soon !
