I began playing bass after I became disheartened from learning the guitar. Once I picked up a bass I realised it was the right instrument for me.

I play in whatever groups I can. Currently i'm playing a lot of pop and jazz.

I used to have the bad habit a lot of left handed bassists seem to have with collecting as many basses as possible. I sold a lot of my basses until I realised exactly what I needed. Due to the amount of pop I was playing I decided it was time to get myself a 5 string. But I went a little further and got a 6 string. I also play some upright too, mainly studying classically.
