Born in 14 February in Ýstanbul. First music studies were the state Radio / TV Childrens choir. 2 Years of clarinet in the Municipal Conservatory followed.

In 1989 started to play the bass. Finished Mimar Sinan University History of Art & Archeology, mastered on Ýstanbul Technical Üniversity History of Architecture, and then in the same university, graduated from Tonemeister Program of the “Advanced Studies in Music• faculty.

Playing with bands like Ten On the Richter Scale, Nuh'un Gemisi (Noah’s Arc), Toys, Contrast and Cockroach from high school to university, then joined Outside, the band then switched it’s name to “KURBAN•.

He currently is playing with the side project “hucumkedi• with fellows from the band “Climb• and solo guy ozturkilmaz, and regularly doing gigs with “Demir Demirkan•. “KURBAN has disbanded.
