My introduction to music was something I do not remember too well. From the age
of 5, my music lessons began, on the 'recorder'! As I grew older and my hands got slightly
larger, a Clarinet was thrust into my hands by my 'music-mad' parents at the age of
        8. By 13, my musical attention was diverted by the discovery of 'Nirvana', a band with
a left-handed guitarist!!! So i decided that I wanted to play guitar.

My father, also a guitarist, took one of his old 3/4 length guitars from the attic
and restrung it 'backwards' for me, as holding the guitar left-handed felt more natural.
Two months later was Christmas and lo and behold, my first bass arrived in my life!
I still have it, and will treasure it. (despite it's awful sound!) It was an Aria Legend
        Jazz Bass.

After a few years of playing I decided to join a band - 'Junk'. I was not only the
bassist, but the lead singer/songwriter. Reaching the grand age of 18 meant that we
all went our separate ways (University mainly). After auditioning for a few bands,
I finally found myself with a group of musicians that I felt could help me pursue my
        musical aspirations.

Wherever you are, whoever you are, PREPARE YOURSELVES, because it all changes from
here. coMA Kai's brutal chorus lines and melodic verses amalgamate to make a sound
that has been referred to as NEW SKOOL METAL. With diverse influences ranging from
Hardcore Kings SNOT to 80's legends THE SMITHS, the bands four members combine to make
an individual sounds that makes them hard to pigeon hole. - Visible Noise Records,

Since joining this band, I have begun to take bass playing seriously. I have now been
touring, recording and 'whoring' with this band for 18 months. It has been the most
musically inspiring thing I've ever done.
