Fender Custom Deluxe Jazz Bass with Audere preamp/Fralin pickups
About six month old and not often in use. No marks, fretwear, etc.
No gigging, just for recording. The best that Fender builds for Leftys. Beautiful instrument.
Upgraded with Audere JZ3D preamp and Lindy Fralin pickups.
Fender promotion text: This select alder-body bass has a modern C-shaped, graphite-reinforced
maple neck with a contoured heel (for easy access to upper frets), five-bolt neck plate,
maple or rosewood rolled-edge fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and highly detailed nut
and fret work. Other features include chrome hardware, deluxe chrome-plated steel bridge
plate (string-through-body or top-load) with nickel-plated brass saddles, and Fender/Schaller®
Deluxe Lite-Bass tuning machines.
I put a new preamp and new pickups in it.
I wanted the best Jazz bass sound I can get, so I ordered an Audere JZ3D onboard preamp.
Also used in very expensive Custom Jazz basses like Nordy´s(Nordstrand). Can´t
get it in Europe, I had to order it from USA.
Controls: volume, balance, low, mid, high, Z-mode switch and Tone!(Like the old or
passive fender basses)
