This isn't your average Stingray by any means.
It was built in 1999 and has had one owner. Me! It was custom modded 7 years later by a shop in NYC to have an added jazz pick up at the neck and a jretro preamp. The pickups are Bartolinis.
Given that the Stingray of course has the 3 way pick up switching, adding a blend knob between the humbucker and the added single coil jazz pick up adds an infinite amount of tones!

Clearing out basses for new stuff. I'm selling my 2009 Sadowsky NYC Vintage J5 string bass.
The bass is in perfect playing condition and has been my primary studio bass for the past 4 years. The bass has been well cared for by me and has been routinely maintained by a luthier here in Nashville.
I've used this bass on hundreds of studio sessions so most of it's life with me, has been in the studio.
The bass has been used live as well (obviously!!) but has not suffered any road wear. There are some surface scratches in the finish but they can easily be buffed out.
No dings or deep gouges or chips in the finish and almost zero fret wear. The bass weighs approx 9 lbs.
The bass will ship in the original Sadowsky portacase. $3350.00 US plus shipping.

left handed double bass (upright) for sale
Set up (mostly) for jazz, this bass with a string length of 107 cm is based on
a Vincenzo Panormo model, what was soon to become the archetypical English double bass
in the 19th century by the likes of Lott, Kennedy or Fendt. Completely handmade to
my specifications between 1999 and 2002. At the time the price (for build, woods and
hardware) was still affordable. If you were to have the same instrument built by any
builder in Europe now, its price would be considerably higher.
It has separate tuners, violin corners and a round back with nicely grained maple (sides
and back). The spruce top has some knots, just like some of the oldest fine Italian
instruments. This does not affect sound by any means, it is purely aesthetic and gives
it an original character. After + 10 years of faithful use, the beautifully arched
table hasn’t sunken in. The scroll is quite large and adds to the robustness and
dominance in appearance. This bass has gone through numerous concerts, jazz and classical
alike.
This bass deserves a new home and a player who knows how to handle this demanding instrument
that has an open, full, warm tone and tons of playing pleasure. A Gewa carrying bag
is included of course.
Taking into account the build price (€ 7500 with original invoices + €
1500 for wood + hardware), price is € 9500.
Excluded are all extra costs for set-ups (bridge, strings, fingerboard, etc...).
If you buy my J. Poullot French bow as well, worth € 1500 and adapted for left-handed
playing, total price would be € 10500.

The lightest P-Bass I have seen: 7.4 lbs (3.36Kg) without the covers.
The fastest neck as well, the smallest P-bass neck I have seen and the easiest to play
so far.
Sunburst finish (body has been refinished at some point in past, very good work), maple
neck with rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, tortoise-w-b-w pickguard (top of pickguard
has been sanded and buffed, small crack near output jack), newer pots and jack (original
pots and jack included) original pickup but the bass is fitted right now with a Fralin
( my personal choice),thumb rest, knobs and tuners, chrome finish on knobs, bridge
screws and tuner paddles is tarnished and worn away, , a good workhorse with a cool
vibe and great sound.
The decalque has been replace by an early 60's logo giving it an even more vintage
look.
1-11/16" nut, 34" scale, neck is stamped "5 MAY 69 B", non-original
bridge and pickup cover included, with OHSC (orange lining, case has moisture stains
in the body area) (SN:262375)

1978 Fender Precision.
Sunburst with a solid, 1 piece maple neck (fingerboard and neck are carved from 1 piece of maple) the bass has Lollar pickups in it which replace the stock Fender pups.

instruments. It's condition still 8,5/10 with only minor scratches at the bottom and
back. It has quite a few expensive options:

I'm selling this wonderful TUNE WB5 Fretless model,
the bass is in mint condition, just some months of life and still in warranty, you will get the buy receipt whit the bass, i payed it new 855 euro, asking 700 + shipping cost from italy, i am open to trade it whit a 6 string fretted mainly, or whit a 4 string, i already have a 5 string bass.

Warwick Fortress 8string Bass
The Bass once was a normal fortress, then it was changed into a 8string in Warwick
manufactory 2002
on my orders.
Played live very seldom, condition is perfect, no marks, great Pickups, Monster 8string
Tone. Changed the finish
into blue, fixed it with Wood-Oil.
The fortress (Warwick Original Line) once was around 1200 Euros, the Transformation
was 700 Euro. So finally my price is 1400 Euros.

Fender precision bass
It was made between 76 and 78 in the USA according to the serial number. I bought it
in 2008, and it was never taken out on the road! It has a one piece maple neck and
fingerboard, I'm not fully sure what the body wood is but it is heavy (10.5 pounds).
The neck is in great condition and for a fat neck it's fast.
The paint work on the body is original, it does have a few scratches here and there
but no bad chunks taken out of it, some call it "character"..
At the moment it has a Leo quan badass 2 bridge fitted and a set of Seymour Duncan
spb-3 pickups, I also have the original bridge and pickups if they would be preferred.
The bass has a great sound, I used it mainly for rock and funk and it sounded good
in the mix always.
