ESP Custom Bass, Made in Japan, year of manufacture: unknown
I'm putting here up for crabs my Japanese ESP Custom Bass as my collection is somewhat overgrown and this one gets way too little playing time. It's a two-piece center-seamed northern ash body with Bartolini PJ pickup combo and passive electronics. The maple neck with fine rosewood board is roomy and especially well-suited for players with bigger hands. The nut width is 43 mm.
The bass is, IMHO, in good used condition regarding its age (20+ years?). The hardware is quite heavily pitted though, and the neckplate and the knobs for the four pots have been replaced with new parts by me. The original gotoh dome head chrome knobs are gne but I will include the original neckplate sporting the serial number as a part of the package.
This very, very rare piece is located in Finland. It weighs 5.2 kgs and will
be shipped in a vintage 80ies Fender USA case which is unfortunately only good for
shelter during shipping as it's missing its handle
