I am selling my Warwick Streamer from 1994. One of the first series of bolt-ons Warwick
made, as far as I know. The trussrod-cover reads „Streamer Bass“.

This is a 1995 Panormo copy 3/4 bass built by Barry Kolstein of Kolstein and Sons in NYC.
It was made completely left handed with the neck radius, internal bracing and sound post all being done to left handed specs.
It has been well cared for and will come with a deluxe padded bag.
I will include an inexpensive bow and a pick up system for amplification. I used it for theatre orchestra work and the occasional blues gig.
I used it on a few recording and it sounded awesome! As my career winds down, I think it's necessary to find a new home for this bass.

Points to be aware of:
Rear battery cover missing (i fix this with some electrical tape)
Needs new strings - the ones on it are fairly old and pretty dull sounding now
Could do with a set up and a little truss rod adjustment
2 control knobs are missing - when i retrofitted the emg pickups, one of them came
with solid shaft pots and the other with knurled shafts. the solid shaft pots wouldn't
fit the existing knobs, so i could only use 2 of them. never bothered me much but you
can pick up knobs for these shafts pretty cheap online
This is quite a bass, and a lot for the money. The Brice brand is part of the Rondo/SX
family which i'm sure most would be familiar with. Really great budget brand that cater
for lefties, great platform for mods, some of which i have done! It is quite rare to
find a budget extended range lefty bass at this price with this kind of hardware...

Another little cracker from the SX brand - this is an older model, i can't find any
details about it online, which is why i don't know what wood the body is made out of.
If i had to guess i would say basswood, due to its lightness. it sounds really great
- especially with the flatwounds, and is really easy to play with a nice slick low
action.
This is pretty much unmodified, although the previous owner told me he made a mod by
putting an orange capacitor on the tone control. I'm not entirely sure what this does
to the sound, but the bass sounds great!!
Only negative is a shallow dent near one of the pots where the finish has come off,
and i think at one point someone seems to have used a black marker to colour the scratch
in! You can just about see this in the pics.
Overall a great bass for anyone wanting to try out some fretless 5 string action on
the cheap, plays and sounds great!

These budget Yamahas are pretty legendary, and this is the gorgeous '90s shape (personally
i prefer it to the modern re-issues of the earlier BB basses, this one has a much sleeker
body).
The only negative is the fact that it needs new strings, and there is a little bit
of road wear in a couple of spots on the rear of the neck where the finish has rubbed
off a bit, nothing that affects playability, just adds a little vintage to it.
This is a great sounding bass, amazing to play, excellent for slap, also very versatile
when using pick or fingers. Only mod that has been done is the "racing stripe"
decal, which is actually just white electrical tape and should just come off with no
problem should you want the plain black finish, and i changed the knobs to a Jazz set,
they look way nicer!
I have 2 of these basses that are identical, and i'm only letting one of them go! And
i will throw in the Peppa Pig sticker for free ;)

Verkaufe oder noch lieber, tausche gegen einen guten in etwa gleichwertigen lefthand
4 Saiter Bass meinen Warwick Vampyre Rockbass lefthand 5string.
Der aktiv 5 Saiter schiebt unglaublich an und ist ideal für das Metall / Hardrock
Genre geeignet aber auch wer gerne slapt wird seine Freude an dem Bass haben!
Bis auf ein paar wirklich kleine Macken (eine rechts hinten und ein paar kleine unter
der Bridge) am Lack ist der Bass in einen Top Zustand.
Er ist natürlich Bundrein,die Pots rauschen nicht und lassen sich auch schön
arretieren (ein Pot wurde getauscht).
Ebenso habe ich dem BASS anstatt der normalen Gurt Halterung Schaller Security Locks
verpasst.
Geliefert wird mit einem nagelneuen Ernie Ball Saitensatz! Der Bass kann natürlich
jederzeit angetestet werden.
Auf Wunsch werden die Aufkleber (siehe Bilder) natürlich sauber entfernt und der
Korpus von den Spuren gereinigt :-)
Tausch ist mir lieber als Verkauf! -> denke da an einen Warwick 4 Saiter aber auch
andere 4 Saiter Bässe sind willkommen nur keine No Names bitte.

Ich wollte so ein Teil schon seit langem mal ausgiebig antesten, und weil es von meinem
zuhause aus in locker 400 km Umkreis keinen
Instrumenten-Händler gibt, bei dem ich das tun kann, habe ich mir diesen gekauft.
Nun gut, jetzt habe ich ihn ausprobiert, und er kann wieder gehen.
Dazu gibt es einen Gurt mit den passenden Gegenstücken zu den Gurtknöpfen
und ein Gigbag von Ritter.
Und: Die Gerüchte über die traumhafte Bespielbarkeit und den sagenhaften
Klang.....sie sind wahr!
Aber warum verkaufe ich ihn dann wieder? Weil er für mich eine Saite zuviel hat
und ich mir einen passiven, Preci-ähnlichen Bass anschaffen werde. Sowas liegt
mir eher.
Der Bass hat (leider) die Bongo-typischen Dongs am Headstock, ist aber ansonsten kratzer-
und fehlerfrei...und klingt fantastisch!
Weil ich neue Saiten drauf gemacht habe und er zum Einstellen beim Instrumentenbauer
war (Florian Hellweg, sehr zu empfehlen), möchte ich
gerne den Preis, den ich selbst bezahlt habe : 1100.- Euros + Kosten für Versand
