Rare vintage 1990s left handed 32" medium scale Fernandes FRB-50. Made in Japan. Gotoh Japan Hardware, P/J Pickup configuration. According to Fernandes, the body is made from basswood, the neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. The FRB-50 is not just a standard bass with a shorter neck. To preserve a good handling, balance and look, Fernandes scaled down the complete bass. The bass is ready to rock and sounds very good. The frets are good, the neck is straight, the action is low. Everything works a it should. The finish is original. Of course there are some signs of use and wear after almost 30 years. Mainly some smaler scratches and a few lighter finish blemishes mostly on the back of the bass. Nothing serious at all and nothing that affects playability or the great look! Up for sale is a rare lefthand Ibanez Musician M924 bass in natural finish from 1981, which is known for decades about it's sonic versatile behavior, payability and quality of the famous Fujigen plant in Japan which started these basses to become a sought after bass guitar since its launch. Therefor, feel free to get an impression of the Ibanez Musician Bass Guitar on the web, as there is plenty of material around. The Bass is located in Germany, having a neck-through construction, a sandwiched body (Ash/MahoganyAsh) and a 5-piece neck containing rock maple and walnut. The fretboard looks like ebony to me, but most probably is rosewood. The 3-Band EQ has an active/passive as well as an character-switch. Selling this lovely and rare bass mostly to cover bills. Rare Squier Japan 32" Medium Scale Precision Bass. The bass is from the E series and most likely from 1987. It is completely original, is well adjusted and ready to play. The neck is straight, the action is low, everything works as it should. Plays and sounds great. Comes with a fresh set of LaBella FS-M 45-105 flat wounds. Fender Japan did not simply screw a shorter neck to a P -Bass body. The entire instrument has been scaled down to keep the perfect ergonomics of a Precision Bass. Width at saddle: ~40.2mm, weight: 3.7kg After almost 36 years, the Squier has of course a few signs of wear, but nothing to worry about. Left handed Rickenbacker 4003, finished in beautiful fireglo. This one wears a rather dark version of the famous fireglo. Quite similar to the colour, McCartneys 4001S was orinally painted in. Also the Rickenbacker still has the smaller and much better looking fretboard inlays. Perfectly matching the colour, the headstock wings are made from beautifully flamed maple. The bass was manufactured in 1997 and is in very good overall condition with only a very few hardly visible signs of use. There are no problems, everything works as it should. The truss rods work, the neck is straight, the frets are great, the action is low, the sound is awsome. Strung with brand new LaBella 760FL 43-104 flatwounds. Original Rickenbacker thumbrest on the bridge pickup. The chrome pickupcover comes with the bass. The bass comes with the original operating instructions and a Rickenbacker polishing cloth in the original left handed Rickenbacker case. Fantastic German made bass from the top shelf at Sandberg. Black VS4 with matching headstock and a roasted maple neck with the most beautiful abelone fret markers. Had a PLEK treatment and a 'Hardcore' relic treatment at Sandberg. Plays ABSOLUTELY fantastic and is built as only the Germans can build. Unfortunately, Precision bass and I will never become best friends and I am going back to a Jazz bass. In passive it sounds like a Precision does - In active (Pull/Push pot) it throws down the gloves and becomes a monster without equal. Truly a Precision on steroids. Brand new 9V battery.
