da musik hören zwar schön ist, ein instrument spielen aber schöner,
entschloss ich mich vor ca. 18 jahren ein instrument zu lernen.
schlagzeug scheiterte an den damaligen raumverhältnissen und so fiel die wahl
auf den e-bass, denn ein rhythmus-mitmuss-instrument war auf jeden fall angesagt.
das ergebnis: in meinem nächsten leben werde ich garantiert wieder bass spielen...
seither sind wie gesagt 18 jahre vergangen und nach einigen interessanten, aber unbeständigen
band abenteuern bin ich bei dem jetzigen trio angelangt.
wir nennen uns "Silverflies" und spielen so allerhand eigene sachen, die
spaß machen, also "pop fusion" im weitesten sinne.
übrigens, 2/3 der truppe sind linkshänder und für den rhythmus zuständig.
"der" übrige drittel ist wegen einhaltung der quote rechts-rum.

das alles über einen Hughes & Kettner Bass Base 400 combo
listening to music on records is very okay, but playing an instrument is the better
way to do. so i decided to learn how to play an instrument.
learning the drums was somehow too difficult to manage due to the lack of space and
so i digged the bass guitar, 'cause some rhythm'n groove thing was strictly recommended.
the result: i will shurely play the bass in my next life...
that happened 18 years ago and in the meantime i joined some interesting but unsteady
band adventures till i 've been stuck in the trio i am playing with nowadays.
we call ourselves "The Silverflies" and we play our own stuff just for fun.
Let's call it "pop fusion".
By the way, 2/3 of the band are lefthanded and are organising the rhythm part.
The remaining third one is working the right way to keep up the statistics.
