The first half of this year is almost finished, but there are only a few news I can present you today. Perhaps it is because the messages apparently
increase from the crisis areas and they affect our lives more and more.

Sylvain Bolduc has written a really good and comprehensive book for bassplayers I would like to introduce you here: . I wrote my first instructional Bass book called Groove 101. It should be available in Europe in february. It is a book written in French and English with over 300 original grooves and exercises to practice your inner clock,timing,sound,reading,vocabulary etc.... It comes with a dvd data that contains over 1,000 tracks to play with. There is no book like that on the market, I believe. Whenever Hubert Doering is going to travel the long distance from the north of Germany to my home, his car is full of basses and other great bass stuff! On the 30th of March I was the witness of his latest achievements. At first there is one of these very, very expensive Rheingold amplifieres! A clean sounding Rheingold B200 amp! Second a brand new Made in Germany Börjes JB Classic 4 lefthand MN bass and last but not least a Dean Pace upright bass.

The things are going on, with my new Marleaux bass. Slowly but surely! The neck with modern and captivating technology is developed now and ready for the finish. The completion delayed for 4 month, so I hope to get it in June this year.
